Something about chips....and metal?

Good Thursday to all the pups and kats! I have had a good day with my mommy! We slept until 7:30! That nasty, loud alarm never even made a sound! We spent some time snuggling and my snooter was too cold and mommy got up. Hey, Sibes should always have a cold snooter! Right??

Then mommy and hooman brother left for a long time. When they got back, I couldn't help but notice that hooman brother didn't have all that metal in his mouth any more. He's always had metal on his teeth! As long as I can remember, and I'm 2 years old now! Apparently they went to a tooth doctor and had the metal removed. I think he looks much better with real teeth showing instead of that metal! And his teeth are very straight!

Mommy brought me home some dental chews...as long as it's not metal! It tasted pretty good. She said I needed a breath mint! How rude!

Mommy is talking about getting me chipped...I don't know what that means....is like a potato chip? If it's food, I'm all about it! Anyway, mommy says if anyone of my friends has a suggestion about microchips, please let us know. Hummmp! I think I should decide what kind of chips I get!!

Also, CoCo got a new Valentine baby to love on, and Jack got a HUGE bone of his own. Koova and Doodle got regular bones. But we are all happy pups!!

A dentist stick? hm, I not had one afore, but if it be food I's all for it.

I has a chip. I got it as a little puppy. I not remember it hurting, it live inside me and mum say it mean if I is lost it will be easier to do findings of me so she is all for them.

Eva and I both have chips but Momma would need to find the paperwork to figure out what kind. But that reminded her that she should keep that info on the biggest food safe in case she needs it.

I bet my snooter is colder than yours and I'm not even a Sibe!!! Mama always goes 'eeek' when I touch her arms and legs with my nose!!

One of us here, namely Thunder Dunder, has a chip. But Dakota and Phantom prefer the kind that come out of the crinkly-sounding bags, and not the ones the vet has.

I have an Avid microchip, I came to Mommy with it, and the company has a new name, MicrochipID, but it can still read mine. You should really pick out your own chips I think....

You just reminded me I needed to update my new address on Moose's chip...Thanks! He has an Avid chip that is now PetTrac or maybe the other way around... He has never gotten lost so can't say how it works but I am a web person and not impressed with their lack of website function AND they charge you $6 to change your address with them. I would call your local Humane society since I am sure they deal with all of the companies and they will know which is most helpful and reliable in a lost pet situation.

Penny & I both have chips. Pennys is Avid and mine is Canadian. I think it is such a good thing that you are getting chipped.
Enjoy your new bone.
Love Ruby
Ps I love your blog wallpaper. So cute, pink skulls.

No chips here other than potato chips. Honey Dew and Sampson both have life time tattoo license on their inner thigh and right ears. They got them when they were spade and neutered.

We all have chips here. Steve and I have chips from Banfield, two each since they put in ones that are common in the USA and once that are common internationally. Mom thinks it's annoying that you have to call to change the info on the chip though. Wilbur has a HomeAgain chip and Mom likes that she can go online and change the contact info there.

Getting chipped and having good breath is not a bad idea. Nigel is half way there.

2 Avid and 4 HomeAgain chips here. We like the ease in which you can change the data on the HomeAgain chip online. The Avid chips are the older ones and the HomeAgain are the newer ones. Both should be able to be read by shelters and vets which is what really matters.

Either way - we say paws up to chips - both the tracking kind and the crunchy kind.

I was chipped when I was nine weeks old - Muzzle felt a bit faint but I was really brave and didn't cry!

Muzzle says she's heard of a number of dogs who have been lost or stolen and then reunited with their families because of microchips, she thinks they are a great idea.

We also like chips, we usually get fed healthy stuff but we were given a few earlier in the week. Yummy!

We likes the Corn Chips here, just plain or toss some in your chili bowl! I don't eats chili but mom likes it.

I don't know about the inplanted chips, I don't think I has one, but I might when I go to the vet this spring.

Kisses,
Stella
