Please meet Bailey! She is our grocery store dog. About 4 weeks ago, my son and I were in our local grocery for ice cream (yummy!) and saw this girl running around, free. She had on a collar, but the area was a danger to her, so we brought her home. We immediately put ads up on Craigslist and in the paper. Also, I called the grocery store and the animal shelter, and local vets, to let them know in case the family came looking.
Sadly, no one responded. Which, to me, means that this poor girl was dumped. At first, we were going to try and find her a new home.
We figure, about 3-4 months old because she still had her baby teeth.
She and MBB got along great! They all got along with her. Even CoCo!
Here she is, right after we brought her home. Scared, but sweet as she can be.
My son and I made the decision to keep her....and named her Bailey.
Here is the chunky girl today. Bailey is just a love-bug. House trained, but loves to run with T-Bone in the back yard. She knows her name, knows how to play fetch, and when she's sleeping next to you, she's like an electric blanket! She is a LOT like our Maxie Doodle, that we lost almost 2 years ago. So, we consider her our little girl, sent by Angel Doodle.
Anyway, say hello to our new girl!
In the next couple of days....I will post Part 2!!!!
Furry hugs!!!
