Please pray for our little Reesie Cup. She has parvo.
We took her to the vet, but they wanted $500 up front with a total cost of over $900 for 4 days of treatment. We simply do not have it. I am crushed and heartbroken that they would not work with us on this or let us make payments. I've checked around and that is pretty standard for the "business" of being a Vet.
All that aside, we are looking into some other alternative methods of treating her, but realistically, it doesn't look good. If she starts to suffer, we will let her go peacefully. But it is ripping my heart out.
Please just pray for her...I know that God has His reasons and plans. I do not question Him at all. But it doesn't make it any easier for us or for our poor little girl.

Poor sweetie. We're sending her and you purrs and purrayers.
Our mom lives with high debt, thanks to vet bills, so she certainly understands. But to not even be able to make monthly payments is outrageous. Maybe there are other vets in a nearby area that would be more flexible and understanding? We know it's a business, but their primary concern ought to be alleviating treating their clients and alleviating suffering, we think.
Our paws are crossed for Reese. We hope she gets the treatment that she needs! We are praying so hard!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

Sorry to hear about Reesie :-(
Haven't read all the comments, but have you heard of/looked into Parvaid, alongside any other treatment you can arrange?
http://www.ambertech.com/products/parvaid-tm.html/
I believe Vibactra is recommended alongside it, but double check:
http://www.ambertech.com/vibactra-tm-and-vibactra-plus-tm-1.html
There's info on the Parvaid page about other ways to help, which might be of use.
I really hope you can find a way through this, we are sending good thoughts.

We read about Reecie on Jack's blog we are so very sorry and will keep you in our prayers. I'm very disappointed that you vet was not willing to work out a payment plan with you...isn't their oath something about 'first do no harm'..not treating her is harmful.
Hugs and prayers,
Madi and Mom
I is very sorry to hear about Reese, fluids are the most important thing right now. Have you contacted local rescues, they may be able to help.

Oh, no, we're sorry little Reese is so sick and hope she will be okay. Praying for her recovery.
I'm purring for that sweet doggie. purr purr purr purr purr purr M is going to that chip in link too and leave a few green papers. Our hearts go out to you. Vet bills are outrageous, to the point where hardly anyone can afford to own a pet anymore. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Oh no! We are so very sorry to hear about this...would it be possible for a local Rescue group to help??? This is so difficult...we are sending along our prayers and good thoughts for Reese!!!! xoxo

Your baby deserves a chance...of course everyone in this community will help in some way to save Reese's life! Count us among those who care about you, your Pack and your baby girl!
We are shamed that a healer is so callous about the lives he has vowed to watch over.
My paws are crossed so tight for little Reecie Cup. I hope you can find a vet who will help. Could you take her story to your local paper??? Maybe that would convince the vets to help her or at least find you some additional support for you.
I will add a link to your blog in my post tomorrow.
Your pal, Pip
We're sending lots of hugs and healing vibes for Reese.
Love,
Teddy Bear & Sierra
We will keep you in our prayers.

This breaks our hearts. We are praying for Reesie Cup and paws crossed everything works out. She is so beautiful. I wish I was in the position to help.
It is a disgrace that Vets do not take payments, and that they put money first over the health and well-being of animals. I would dump that Vet and never give him/her your business again. I noticed it starting years ago and could not understand. It is so wrong on so many levels.
Please try all your local your local humane societies. Many have special funds, and Vets who work on site, to help people in need. Also, do research and see how/if you can treat it on your own.
Good luck and our prayers are with you and Reesie Cup. Special prayers to St. Francis of Assisi that he can help you cure sweet Reesie Cup.

We just brought a puppy of our own home in November. I would be heartbroken if he were to get sick! Our paws are crossed and our prayers go out to your sweet little girl!

Lord have mercy. Sending love to you for your sweet puppy. :)
Prayers and crossed paws for Reesie Cup. Coming over from Pip's blog.
Your vet should be ashamed of themsleves. But you can go now and get the care you need, after that I would find a different vet.
There are really good ones out there that really do care about our families and not the all mighty buck.
Really there are.
Bert
We know how you're feeling right now. Back in the late 80's we had a beautiful Dobie pup with Parvo. She wasn't given much of a chance to survive and, like in Reesie's case, our regular vet wouldn't treat her because he felt there wasn't any hope. We found another vet who would treat her....and she survived and was my heart dog for all the years of her life.
Our pack (all 9 of them) will have their paws crossed for a complete recovery. And their Pack Leader (me) will be saying a lot of extra prayers for your sweet girl. Don't give up!
If you had a paypal button or a chip in I would be happy to help out. Meantime, our paws are crossed!
We are praying for Reesie Cup. We hope that she'll get through this and get better.
Sending you healing paw power from all of us here.

Oh, now...I am so sorry to hear this. I can't believe they won't work with you on a payment plan. Will another vet in the area work with you? Is there a Chip In? We help spread the word & the Chip-In link to help as best we can. You are in our thoughts...
We found the Chip-In and are sharing the link on our FiveSibes: Siberian Husky K9 News & Reviews Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/FiveSibes-Siberian-Husky-K9-News-Reviews/181529415231834) & over on Twitter to help spread the news and hopefully raise enough funds to get sweet Reesie the treatments she needs. We are thinking of you!
Several years ago we cared for a dog with parvo. Our vet allowed us to bring the dog home with all the IV's and meds. My husband had some medical training.. they put a port in at the vet's office and we did the rest of the treatment at home. It cut the cost significantly and the dog pulled through. You might check if that is an option.
Prayers going up!

WE have our paws tightly crossed for Reese and hope you can find a kind vet to help you.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear what's happening with Reesie. To tell you the truth, my dog died of Parvo, too. And it was heart breaking because we never knew about it until it happened and I researched about it.
Now, first of all, Parvo is very fatal especially for puppies. You should try considering Parvaids. Some people have attested to its effectiveness but I can't give you my personal guarantee as we don't have that here in the Philippines. But it cost $35-65 with the addition of Vibactra. This is needed because of the sloughing of the intestinal lining.
Next, I have this link. There aren't testimonies on it but kindly check it out. http://www.parvoemergencytreatment.com/home-remedies-for-parvo.php?src=PET-footer
I hope this helps.

We read about Reesie on Mr. Pip's blog and came to give our best wishes and prayers for her. We are shocked that your vet refused to help her or even discuss a payment plan. Definitely time to dump that loser. Hope River's mom has been able to help. We're keeping our paws crossed.

Has anyone set up a ChipIn thingy so that we can send donations to help try to raise the $500 for Reese?
Hi, I'm sorry to hear what's happening with Reesie. I am a pets lover to, hope smoochies will get better soon.
