I wanted to make sure everyone knew that our Reesie Cup is doing GREAT! She has gained her weight back, and then some. She's running and playing just like a pup should! She's 5 months old now, and last week I didn't think she would live to see it.
I want to thank everyone in blogland and all those on Facebook who pulled together and help raise just over $1000 for Reesie's vet bill. Without all of you, she would not be here.
Also, a special thank you to River's mom, Stephanie! She drove out of her way to help us take Reesie to the vet. Without her, Reesie would not be alive either.
So, a huge thank you to a community that pulled together with lots of love and saved my baby girl!
I am honored and humbled. I am thankful.

Sherri, we're just so glad that Reesie is going to be OK. She is a fighter with the will to live. I think in many ways, the will to live is more important than anything else. We look forward to watching Reesie grow up and hear about all her adventures.

Wow that is such good news! I'm so glad Reesie is doing so well! It warms my heart to know that so many people, ones that you have never even met, are so willing to help out a pup in need!
