Mommy has found two of these crawly critters on HER this weekend. First one was in her hair....I wonder how many of you in bloggie world heard that scream? She was furry furry loud! Then, yesterday, poor mommy found another one crawling on her EAR....And that scream made the windows shake! Woooos!
I am not sure where or how they got on mommy....but we furries have paid the price. We have been brushed and loaded down with flea/tick killer stuff. Why are we punished when we didn't invite them inside?
Other than crawling things, we are all staying inside to keep cool. It was 90 degrees yesterday, so it was not a Husky friendly day! I spent the day looking out the window in the livingroom and watching this really cute german shepherd that lives across the street. He is furry handsome!!! Harooooooo!!!!
Today, mommy's back is hurting so there won't be a lot of stuff going on...maybe some random zoomies or bitey face.
Sorry that we've not visited a lot of blogs this past week...internet has been slow for some reason...mommy plans on some computer maintence today....whatever that means.
Woofs and happy Monday to everyfurrieone!!!!

Fortunately, we have not seen too many of those crawly things, but know the humans look for them a lot.
Wooo! That looks scary even to me! I never get those things for some reason, but they love the border collie.
It is hot here too! Yuck!
I am staying in in the A/C !

Did woo hear OUR mom scream when she saw this? It was loud, too. she HATES those ticky guys. Where we live, ticks transmit a really nasty disease- Lyme. So we always have tick stuff on us & get Lyme vaccinations, and she checks us all the time.
Hope you have a nice tick-free day!

We get checked a lot for them too since we're in the woods and tall grass a lot. I had one yesterday and Brice had one the day before.

We found one of those hideous creatures this weekend, but not in an ear! Gross out!! Hope that back pain goes on its way in a hurry :(
Hi MBB
We think ticks are creepy!!! Miniature dachshund screams are louder than human female screams when we encounter one.
Hope your mom's back pain goes away soon.

Ugh! I caught one of those crawling around on me once! It's bad enough when we have to pry them off Trixie with a miniature crowbar but who invited them onto the humans? Yuck!
Maybe your mom needs some Frontline before she is allowed outside.

Eeek! What be that thing? Ticks and fleas does not look like that here!
Heh! Mom found one her neck last night just as she was about to put dinner on the table. She turned her head upside down to shake out any of it's friends, of which there were none. But she still wiggled and scriggled all thru dinner 'cuz she felt crawly.
It was a funny sight to see!
Woofs and crawly slobbers,
